If you are on the search for a natural acne treatment, you may be surprised with the information you are about to read. Apple cider vinegar has worked wonders for both men and women alike. Apple cider vinegar is known as a cure all, if consumed properly it will help you lose weight, it will strengthen and elongate your hair, as well as get rid of your acne.

Apple cider vinegar is likely something that you have got way in the back of your cabinet but have never even thought about using for as an acne treatment. Well I have good news and bad news for you, the good news is that apple cider vinegar will most certainly help rid you of unwanted pimples and breakouts, but the bad news is that it has a very pungent and lingering odor. If the bad news has still not scared you away, then read on for exactly how to use apple cider vinegar as a natural acne treatment.

You will need a bottle of apple cider vinegar (of course), a clean face towel, a pack of cotton balls and your usual facial cleanser. Fist you will have to wash your face as you usually would, when patting your face dry with the towel make sure to not over do it. Leave your face semi damp and this is when you will apply the apple cider vinegar. Take 2 cotton balls and dip them into the bottle of apple cider vinegar, rub throughout face and make sure that every spot that needs attention and is broken out, receives the proper attention needed. After you are done with this you will not wash your face. This process works because you are allowing the apple cider vinegar to seep into your skin. If you would like you can lightly pat your face with a towel to rid yourself of any excess apple cider vinegar on left on your face. I warn you, it has a very pungent smell but will fade after 20 minutes or so.

Acne Home Remedies

Acne is a common problem among teenagers and adults alike. Treating acne can be a very long and expensive process, and leave you with little to no hope because of not so desirable results. Products like Pro Active have given consumers with acne all over the world a shred of hope. Although Pro Active and products like it can be effective, they are expensive. And when you stop using them for a long period of time your skin will begin to breakout. Thankfully there is an alternative to expensive products like Pro Active. A little known acne home remedy is baking soda. Yes, it is an unexpected acne solution, but it in fact does provide the desired results in a short amount of time, and in an inexpensive fashion.

Baking Soda is what most people use to get rid of those pesky odors in the fridge. But it is a little known fact that baking soda helps reduce and get rid of acne all together when applied properly. To do this all you need is a box of baking soda and some water, tap will suffice. Put a fair amount of baking soda into the palm of your hand, and add water until it turns into a paste. Then apply the baking soda paste to your face and massage it throughout your face in a circular motion. Let sit for another 3 to 4 minutes then rinse off with cool water. Remember when drying your face always use a clean towel and pat your face dry, don’t rub. Rubbing causes your skin to be red and irritated, that is exactly the opposite of what you are trying to accomplish with this process. When using baking soda as an acne home remedy, expect to see results in less than 2 weeks. There are other ways to get rid of acne, but this one is so cheap you really do need to give it a try.
